Series of Fortunate Events and Miracles of 2007
The Jacobs Chronicles

Another year that we can reflect upon and count our many blessing.
As a surprise to many, including ourselves, we were married this summer. We had the love and support of our 8 wonderful children that made this event not only possible but also one of the great blessings in our lives.
The memories that we have created so far are priceless.
Here is a brief report on our children’s whereabouts:
*Matt and Candace Jacobs, Brighton, CO, with their three beautiful and smart children, Kylie, Jaxon, and Alyssa are working together and making room for their new baby brother Luke, which should be here in January.
*Jesse and Paula Bruce, Ogden ,UT, In their cute home with their baby boy, Jaxson, that was born in May. Both, Paula and Jesse still working at the IRS and making sure we don’t cheat in our taxes.
*Nate and Bethany Jacobs, Chandler, AZ, Nate is getting used to the challenge of being a new manager in his company; him and Bethany are working hard to get him through his MBA program.
*John J and Ashley Dobson, Mountain Green, UT, Enjoying their beautiful home in the mountains and their 4 gorgeous kids, Dakota, Noah, Hannah and Danika Andrea. They joined their talents, skills and hard work and were able to “flip” John J’s old house, the house and the sale were a great success.
*Wes and Bonnie Nieto, Aurora, CO Newly wed since the first week of October, they had a beautiful and very well planned wedding. Wes just started with the Englewood Fire Dept. and they just added a new member to their family, Nala, a 7 weeks old boxer.
*Danielle Dobson, Salt Lake City, UT, Still breaking many hearts, as she diligently works at Chilis, and is enjoying more opportunities to travel and her “metro” life down town.
*Dave and Michelle Barnes, Fruit Heights, UT, and beautiful 2-year old Ava; Dave and Michelle are both going to school. They are looking into purchasing their new home.
*Michael F Dobson, Orem, UT, Michael works at Office Max for now, in hopes of transfering to Weber State and starting work with the IRS this coming year.
We are the proud and happy parents and even prouder grandparents of 10 beautiful grandkids!
*******We were able to go to Kauai a few times this year and learn to love that part of the world, its people and their traditions. It added so much to out lives and has made us grow founder of each other. Our love and happiness increases day by day. Tom is recovering from his radiation treatment for his prostate cancer; treatment is going even better than we expected; he is still officiating high school basketball. Carla is setting up a translation business company, called TraduzInc, besides painting and doing crafts for the grand babies and just loving live. -----May the spirit of Christmas bring you peace, The gladness of Christmas give you hope, and the warmth of Christmas grant you love. Our best wishes, with Love Tom and Carla
