Christmas Eve, Tom and I spend a beautiful white Christmas at our home in Denver.

Petropolis- I moved there when I was about 15. Made many life time friends that we stay in touch till this day ! They had a big pizza cook out at one of our friend beautiful house, by the pool house! It was a blast - We all sing the old Rock and Roll songs from back on our day ! Hilarius Here is the crazy bunch...

Of course we cannot pass the Agua de Coco- Every time we walked on the beach, here we were in Ipanema walking back to Copacabana at night.

We made it to the top of Pao de Açucar (Sugar Loaf) and started to rain, it was still fun, I had to share my pao de queijo with the little monkeys that followed us around.

All My Children

These are my most precious possessions, my great kids!!!
We all met at John J's house for dinner earlier December, we had our Grandmother Juanita Dobson all the way from Panguitch, for a short visit- she loved seing all her grandkids and great-grandkids as well- She is 95 years old, still lives on her own and she was so happy to spend a day with us all. What a trooper!

I spend the last 7 days taking care of Kylie, Jaxon and Alyssa, while Candace had the chance to go and spend some time with her cute family.
I had so much fun... It was amazing!!! What a great opportunity that was!

"Charger"

So... While we were in Escondido, CA at the Laurence Welk Resort, Tom rented a Dodge CHARGER.

I'm beginning to worry how influential the 'stories' my kids tell Tom, about my personality specially the one that I match such car !

Was it a coincidence??? Or is he trying to tell me something?

Good Friends...Great times!!!Mike and Andi Shoemaker and Dave and Anne Warren, have been friends with Tom for that last 20 years! They have worked on many water projects in Wichita, Kansas. Last year they engaged in the largest "water" project the City has ever done under the management of Tom (Jacobs), my dearest husband! Andi and Anne and I (the wives) have grown close in friendship (since the boys are so involved) and it has been the greatest pleasure to associate with such fine people.Our friendship have developed to the point that we are considered part of family.Last October Mike and Andi's son, Kevan, married this cute Brazilian girl (by the way, her name is Carla), and they decided to have the ceremony in both languages, Portuguese and English, It was a privilege when they asked me to take part in the ceremony. Then Last Saturday, February 13th, it was David Warren's 60th Birthday and we were there not just for the party, but helping him cook! That gave us also the opportunity to associate and meet lots of new people ! We loved it... It was a great time indeed!Tom and I feel so blessed to have so many great friends !!!

I'm Back!!

We had a very busy year traveling to a lot of great places. After each trip I thought long and hard about at least posting some pictures of our adventures but ended up doing nothing at all. One of my goals is to keep up on my blog, updating it at least monthly. I hope everyone will visit.
The last two months have been one of the most exciting for Tom and I. We have three new grandchildren!! We're so proud!
